DESCRIPTION

A few months ago I came across an adventure game template that I really liked (Interaction_With_ALS) and I wanted to make a map based in a Japanese city all in a post-apo universe full of zombie. In terms of gameplay we are close to a Last Of Us and an Uncharted .

Intention

Oni Project came to me after watching this video ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KW4JlxAEAE0 ) in this video Evan Hill says at the beginning that to create this level he started directly with the block out without going through the Level design document box. Following this video I wanted to try and so Project Oni was born, I see it as a Last Of Us based in a big Japanese city . This project allowed me to work on semi-open level design and thus work on my pacing and my guidance so that the player does not get lost, moreover thanks to the template that I used I was able to work on situations of gun fight, infiltration, scripting, and combat against zombies.

I really care about this project and I intend to continue to expand the city of Project Oni to experiment with several other level design ideas that will do well in a game like
Last Of Us.
